Wes Allen, founder of four zero four, has a ten-year path of professional Internet development. After college, Wes served as a web developer for a large newspaper, designing web layouts and authoring many widely-used publishing tools.
As a freelance developer for 8 years, Wes balanced his focus between programming and design. He found an aesthetic sensibility to compliment his logical nature. His custom-designed websites often utilized databases and technical features that he created.
Combining a designer's eye with a coder's mind, Allen sees "making technology approachable, useful and valuable" as the purpose behind his craft. He launched four zero four in 2011.
